Product Description
420-1700 m³/hr Twin Lobe Blower
The offered 420-1700 m³/hr Twin Lobe Blower is a positive displacement type unit which consist of two involute rotors that rotates about their own axis to receive the air from the inlet port and then transfer it to the discharge port at a high pressure value. The rotor assembly is encased in a rigid mild steel casing which gives excellent strength and sturdiness. The machine has a swept one liter per revolution to achieve air flow in between 20 to 150 cubic meters per hour.

Efficient Oil-Free PerformanceDesigned for oil-free operation, the twin lobe blower ensures pure air output without the risk of oil contamination in your process. Its positive displacement technology guarantees consistent airflow, while an oil splash lubrication system keeps moving components in optimal condition. The blower is engineered for applications where clean, reliable compressed air is critical, such as wastewater treatment, food processing, and chemical industries.
Flexible Applications and ConfigurationsWith a capacity range of 420 to 1700 m/hr and pressure outputs up to 1 Kg/cm(g), this blower serves diverse industries, from cement plants and aquaculture to gas booster systems. Configuration options include V-belt or direct drive, flanged connections, and selectable materials for enhanced durability in corrosive or demanding environments. Accessories such as silencers, safety valves, and air filters come standard to suit your setup.
FAQs of 420-1700 m/hr Twin Lobe Blower:
Q: How does the twin lobe roots blower deliver oil-free air?
A: The twin lobe blower is designed with an oil splash system that lubricates only the bearings and not the air chamber. This ensures that no oil enters the air stream, making the blower suitable for applications requiring clean, oil-free air.
Q: What applications are best suited for this blower?
A: This blower is ideal for wastewater treatment, pneumatic conveying, cement manufacturing, aquaculture, chemical processing, silo airing, and gas booster systems. Its robust design allows it to handle a variety of industrial tasks that require reliable, continuous airflow.
Q: When should maintenance be performed on this equipment?
A: Routine maintenance, such as checking oil levels, inspecting V-belts, and cleaning air filters, should be performed as per the manufacturers recommendations or operating hours. Regular preventive checks ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Q: Where is the twin lobe blower typically installed?
A: The blower is floor-mounted on a skid base and typically installed in industrial facilities, water treatment plants, and manufacturing sites. Its compact dimensions and modular accessories make it adaptable to a range of plant layouts.
Q: What is the process for starting up the blower safely?
A: Ensure the blower is securely mounted, check oil and belt tension, and confirm all accessories (silencer, safety valve, air filter) are in place. Power on using the electric supply (415V/3 Phase/50Hz) and gradually increase load while monitoring temperature and noise levels.
Q: How does the anti-corrosive coating benefit my operation?
A: An anti-corrosive paint or powder coated finish improves durability and protects the blower from harsh industrial environments, reducing wear and the potential for corrosion-related failures.
Q: Can I choose the blower material and configuration?
A: Yes, the blower is available in cast iron, stainless steel, and mild steel to match your specific application needs. You may also select between V-belt and direct drive types, with various accessory options included as required.
